But did you read Halo: Fall of Reach? A novel by Eric Nylund. Check it out it gives more details of the lives of SPARTANS II. It tells it from the 3rd-person view of Master Chief himself (i'm not saying his real name). The 'poison' augmentation you referred to in your flash was right but the part where it says they used it on children was not correct. Read the book and you'll see.
